Lavish accommodations and timeless elegance
Aman New York is an all-suite hotel. Each suite exudes sophistication, showcasing a seamless blend of modern luxuries and timeless Asian design organized by French designer Jean-Michel Gathy. They offer plush bedding, sleek furnishings, and awe-inspiring views of the city skyline.
We stayed in a Junior Suite on Fifth Avenue, which was around 72sqm large. Our dedicated butler checked-us-in directly in the suite and made a small tour. I loved the fact that everything can be control via an iPad, from curtains to TV top-down mechanism, room service, Spa booking… In a very smooth way.
As usual for an Aman location, the attention to detail ensures that your stay will surpasse all expectations. I particularly enjoyed the huge bathroom and its marble wood-like floor. Truly amazing design and a true Wow Factor.
Gastronomic delights
There are two main restaurants at Aman New York, both on 14th floor: Arva and Nama. Arva is the Italian place where a-la-carte breakfast is served, and I have to say that was a really good one. Service was fast, efficient while savors matched perfectly our tastes. And guess what: a very large terrace overlooking Fifth Avenue is available if you are up for an outdoor breakfast, lunch or dinner.
On the other hand, Nama is a Japanese restaurant inviting guests to explore the fine-dining concept of omakase. The omakase experience sees diners enjoying a multi-course menu chosen by Chef Takuma Yonemaru, based on ingredients sourced that day.
One or the other, in both cases you will embark for a culinary experience where each meal will be memorable. Not to mention the extensive selection of wines and spirits to complement your gastronomic adventure. Perfection will always be on the menu!
Aman Spa and its breathtaking pool
What to do after a day walking and exploring the Concrete Jungle? Escape at Aman Spa of course! Located on 10th floor, this exclusive 2,300sqm Spa is a great place for relaxation and rejuvenation.
