We took advantage of a Private Sales offer for a romantic week-end at Versailles with one luxury night at Trianon Palace hotel. It was the occasion to discover one of our country’s jewels, the Chateau de Versailles, and make a break with the stressful Paris. Two days are fine to take time to visit all the monument departments, La Galerie des Glaces and gardens ; I advise you to assist to the fountain waters release and night show too. At the end you will feel luxury like the King Louis XIV !
Regarding the Trianon Palace, the Gordon Ramsay restaurant – the only one in France – is a must-do that you need to book lot in advance and if you plan to sleep there you should take a room in the main building called “Palace”, not the “Pavilion”.
