Uganda has the highest rate of teenage pregnancy in Sub Saharan Africa with 20% pregnancies among teenager registered every year. According to the demographic survey 2018 of the recent during this Covid19 season the trend has overwhelming become rampant. Beauty in the broken campaign focuses on helping the teenagers to Say No to teenage pregnancy as one way of keeping them focused to meet their aspirations in life. Teenage pregnancy has emerged into loss of lives for teenagers while giving birth, school dropout contracting sexually transmitted diseases, family and society neglect leaving them with low self esteem and assuming early parenting responsibility thus, risk not meeting their life targets. We therefore help them from their respective communities to discover the hidden beauty and potential within them through counselling, sensitization and education on sexual reproductive health readiness, empowering them with skills and rescue with relief for food and other essential needs. We not only care after victims of teenage pregnancy but also other kinds of marginalized groups of women like widows, women with disabilities, elderly and single mothers benefit from our programs of health, families support, shelter to mention a few. Now Prima for the Women in partnership with us look forward to championing beauty in the broken both in none and deprived communities of Uganda addressing challenges affecting the women for five years.
