From the very modern design to the level of exigency, the furnitures and material quality, Bulgari London is for sure an amazing Knightsbridge property and even if it is not often nominated in magazines, we personally ensure that a stay there will go far beyond your expectations. The Spa is also a piece of Art and worth the visit as it is the signature of Bulgari design and lifestyle experience.
2. The Halkin
Belgravia district hosts an astonishing jewel offering, in a typically british building, a pure English way of welcoming with high-level luxury and a design mixing tradition and contemporary touches by Edith Leschke. Rooms are very large and we especially like the Belgravia Suite, which is quite cheap regarding size and gives a chance to benefit a lovely terrace. The peak of a stay at The Halkin is certainly the dining experience at “Ametsa with Arzak Instruction” restaurant – Michelin star awarded – located at the ground floor and proposing a modern Basque cuisine.
A French touch in the heart of London, few steps from Piccadilly circus, Sofitel St James is a great place for luxury hotel lovers thanks to its “boutique” style, its brilliant service quality and simply its perfect location, close to all tourist attractions. Booking a Junior or Prestige Suite is particularly interesting because of the free minibar (including alcoholic drinks) and the large size – around 60sqm – while most of London regular suites are quite small. Then obviously this residence is an ambassador of French luxury and design, but it is still interesting to see how English staff assume and enhance it ; a good example is the Rose Lounge where afternoon tea is served in a typical “a-la-francaise” atmosphere.
