Hong-Kong International airport is one of the biggest I ever seen ; from the first gate to the last one you have to plan a 25 minutes walk and you can also rent a buggy to visit fastly all duty free shops… As you can imagine, a so huge airport contains many lounges and I had a chance to stay in the Cathay Pacific The Cabin lounge located at the lower floor with full view over the tarmac. Dedicated to CX Business Class passengers, it offers many services like noodles bar, wine bar (managed by The Peninsula luxury hotel brand), restaurant and a communication center.

I waited my flight at Cathay Pacific The Cabin lounge during 3 hours and everything was fine and clean with a high service quality. Cleaners and waiters were very efficient, proactive – they noticed me a flight delay and arranged an early departure with another boarding pass – that reflects perfectly the Cathay exigency. Some alcove seats allow maximum privacy for calls, email checking or any entertainment ; I definitely recommend this lounge if you have hours to spend in HK airport.
