So romantic destinations for a first stay in Italy: Venice and Roma. I setup everything to make this trip perfect with luxurious hotels in finest location and we were lucky with the weather as it was very hot and sunny. We discovered Venice during 2 days, the city is just amazing ! A true jewel with its water channels, gondolas and vaporettos… Yes it looks a bit dirty but this is typical for Venice, that is the charm of this old lady where the Bridge of Sighs and Piazza San Marco are not to miss. Our hotel, Hilton Molino Stucky, had a very convenient location at 15min by boat to town center and its pool-on-the-top was soooo delightful ! Then we directly went to Roma by train and slept 2 nights in the heights of the capital at the Waldorf Cavalieri, one of its most renown hotels. There are lot of monuments to see or visit, the City of Vatican, the Coliseum, Villa Borghese,… Just admire, learn italian history and take photos :)
If you plan to discover Italy I highly recommend to choose 2 or more cities to visit ; indeed your would see far more thing and this country has so many beautiful and different places which need at least 2 days per each.
